Buses in East Sussex provide mobility to those people who might otherwise not be able to travel to work, shops, friends or visit essential services. They are a vitally important form of transport and make a positive contribution towards reducing car use and pollution.
Young people can benefit from reduced fares by using the Choice and Choice+ travel schemes. More information is available at www.eastsussex.gov.uk/buses
Free travel for senior citizens is available throughout Sussex with the Countycard scheme. People with disabilities can also be entitled to use the Countycard. Contact your district or borough council for more information.
